I flew DXB-DOH-SIN r/t in J recently. The seats are of the angled lie-flat type for me they worked quite ok. I had nice sleep both ways. The food service is really great. Overall QR are a really good experience surely beats both TG and SQ on this route. According to another thread here QR are going to introduce the 777 on this route (DOH-SIN-CGK) next year which will improve thing even further.
Our aircraft DOH-SIN was different from the one in - we were in the second row for each, but the trip back had a 3-class config., so we had the fully flat F seats in the 1-2-1 config of a few rows, instead of the 2-2-2-2 config of the airbus SIN-DOH.
The fully flat F eats plus the full Arabian breakfast were a real treat.
In case anyone hasn't flown this route, QR arrives into the A380 gate right in the middle of T3 at SIN.
