Don't forget that your SGN-MNL flight is not the only int'l arrival at that time. You didn't mention your date of travel, but depending on the day of the week here are other int'l arrivals on 5J:

04:00 from HKG
04:05 from SIN
04:35 from BKK
05:00 from KUL
05:25 from CGK
