In fact, I will provide that one thing that our Reservations agents might be able to help you with here is that they could split your party into seperate reservations (I assume because you said "we").

The reason I mention this is that the website looks for fares that are available for the total # in your party. By splitting reservations you may be able to get 1 seat more discounted than another . .and ultimately it may make enough of a difference for you.

As an example - as I write this . . flight # 3994 that you mentioned has 1 seat available at $199 and 3 at $214 . . . then it goes up to $231.

So if your reservation was for 4 or more passengers, the website is only going to show you the $231 . . but by calling reservations you could get some of the seats at a slight discount.

I'm not sure how much you paid originally - or if that first $199 seat would be enough of a savings to justify the higher fare for the others in your party - but its at least a consideration!

Of course, all of the above is based on availability right this second - and its subject to change quickly. And, if you do choose to have reservations make a change for you - once they have done so you will no longer be able to make changes online. If you have more changes to make you would have to continue to call in.

edited to add - flight 1258 (1 hr and 25 mins earlier) has 3 seats available at the $199 and several at $214.

Hope some of that helps and you are able to enjoy a happy holiday with your family!
