I'm not even sure that this warrants a reply, but maybe you're not an LVS stockholder... so I'll humor it.
The poster insinuated that the company is "doing great." I hardly think a potential BK situation would encourage most people to place LVS under such a heading. To suggest that there will be any near-term "roaring back" is even further out on the probability scale. Those were my only two points in refuting the poster's suggestion.
Separately, the fact that you've identified a few anecdotal cases where businesses "operate fine" under BK doesn't mean very much. Not only have you perhaps inadvertently chosen a very special case (airlines - an industry long subject to special exception, exemption, and subsidy), but we could certainly go into more detail about the difference between "fine operation" and what most would term a "profitable, sustainable enterprise."
