I heard some fresh news from a reliable soure that the Saudi CAA objected recently the return of BA to Saudi as a revenge becuse BA quit services to Saudi 3 years ago despite all the assurances from Saudi CAA that BA planes and crew are safe there from any possible terrorist attacks.
