Gold members cannot bump anyone off a seat. I am sure in very rare cases a super VIP or such could get flight control do to it for them, but still highly unlikely.

I've only ever had one pre-assigned seat changed on BA, and this was due to an aircraft change. Also happened once on SK. Got an upgrade that time ^
