Yup. WLAN is Mobile Broadband (or maybe it's WWAN). I should probably just say mobile broadband since that's more common.
I guess the idea is that you'd access it "live" with a wireless (broadband, phone, BB) connection. I see potential for delays if people try to do that as they get up to the checker. Of course, not having one of those devices, maybe it is simpler than that and no need for concern.
Since my wife and I are typically on the same PNR, this won't work as-is anyway, with the single passenger restriction...but maybe that will be enhanced over time if this works well.
