This already exists. You can guarantee an F seat for 5,000 miles, or by buying a Y fare.

Incidentally, as a Gold, I still upgrade at least 70% of my segments at EUA and 20% at BF. (Today being the exception since I rebooked my entire itin at 3 AM this morning.)
