Of course it's more complicated that the general guidelines I posted above. It all depends on where you are coming from and where you're departing to, whether the in-transit facilities are in operation at the time you do your connection, security concerns at the time you do your connection, etc.

But generally, my list up there is correct. I just made one change for international-transborder because you always have to reclear to U.S. standards.
