To answer your question, yes they should. I've long felt that if something else were to happen, it's going to be an inside job. Someone who doesn't get screened is going to exploit a loophole, and one of these days the consequences is going to be measured by a body count rather than measuring grams.
And those LEOs should be screened as well.
What should they be screened for? They already have a tool that can effectively hijack the plane with. What else should they be screened for?
