I agree that the US Airways First Class service on their flights to Europe ranks at the bottom among the United States based airlines flying to Europe and the United States based airlines as a group are still behind the the international based airlines.
However, I have cashed in miles to fly to Europe and Pacific on Star Alliance partners...that is one of the benefits.
