Air China aquired six A340-313X through the merger with China Southwest Airlines in 2003. On average, they are about 10.5 years old, but all been refitted with new seats with new layout throught out in 2005-2006.
Their Australian web site refutes this:
A330-200 is a brand new spacious aircraft equipped with an AVOD (Audio Video on Demand) entertainment system. The A330-200 is operating on routes of London, Frankfurt (CA965/6), Munich, Paris (CA963/4), Rome, Madrid, Vancouver, Dubai, Sydney, and Melbourne.
All searches for a seat map come up empty so far.
