I hate to be the black cloud, but these are very much "little enhancements" that make the whole experience much better. Things like:
• Salad dressing being poured instead of the current erupt-on-your-shirt packaging
• Warm nuts.
• Ice Cream! (Isn't that what little kids like?)

I agree.
Warm Nuts & Ice Cream - I already get both of these on my IAD-SEA transcons.
Salad Dressing from bowl - This is actually a take on what they do in intl F class. I like it, it makes things look more classy.
Unfortunatly, as neat as these changes are - they really need to "mix it up" so to speak. Meaning, the menu's across the board on United (minus the recent phasing out of the Deli Plate in liu of the variations on the Salmon Plate) don't change at all - they may change from January to February, but in March it's the same as January. In fact, the menu I had on yesterday's F class SEA-IAD was EXACTLY the same as last January's menu (which is of course the same as March/May/July/September's menu).
Bottom line is - these are great enchancements, but - it barely hits the tip of the iceberg on service in biz class. They need to mix it up more. That same beef/chicken/artichoke ravioli is the exact same offering on virtually every flight that United offers. Anyways....
