I remember a few years ago when UA had the 'American Fare' menu in First/Business on flights to/from FRA.

It featured Spinach and Artichoke dip for appitizers, Cheeseburgers, Chicken, or BBQ for the entree with potato wedges, and some kind of apple pie for dessert.

It was a trial thing for a few months, but IMHO was the best darn selection I've ever had onboard.
