I agree with SmilingBoy. I have a read-only view of the reservation on LH.com, but must telephone LH to get seating assignment. In my case, I am using a US award for travel on LH. When calling LH, I told them the ticket number since LH and UA have different 6 digit confirmation numbers. Once LH told me their 6 digit confirmation, I was then able to get the read-only view of the reservation.
