We have quite a few savvy FTers residing in Tokyo and Japan. I am sure you will get some good pointers from them. Moving the whole family + a pet is a BIG change! If you need advice & info about the travel arrangement& tips, don't hesitate to ask in your new thread. Be as specific as possible (such as your home base in US, travelling dates, hotel/airline status, air carrier..etc), so FTers can "tailor" their advice to suit your needs. Questions about airlines should go to the
Airline Programs fora (not sure which one you are flying though).
