But it's still cheaper than YYx - HKG on it's own.
I was thinking about this earlier today and came up with the same suggestion as IluvSQ. Anyway, it's a good way to save a little $$$ and do a mini MR at the same time. If you have a bit of time to spare, it might work out OK.
I purchased YYZ - BKK (via HKG) a few months back for a flight end of December and the Latitude fare was less than $3000! (Obviously that was before AC hedged their fuel at $100.)
