I stayed at the St Regis in June of 2006 and it was a fantastic stay. I was a Platinum at the time and was upgraded to a nice 1 bedroom suite. The entire resort is very nice and service was great.

The beach is indeed quite a hike and you do have to take the golf cart. But it is a nice beach.

If you can get C&P say for $150 and points it is a great deal. I think I paid around $500 / night.
