I don't think its a Baccarat thing. The floor person must track all black, purple and orange chips. He probably didn't want the extra purple in the rack for accounting purposes. He may have just ordered a fill of purple or something else.

NOW, if you requested orange and he refused would be a surprise and poor customer service.

I have always been afraid of the big Baccarat table. I don't know all of the rules and would be worried I would make a mistake when I had the shoe. Hope you had fun.
