True but the hotel is still quite a distance away from the actual beach! This also is VERY important in my opinion for the ocean view which is in no way great from the St. Regis. (Location, view and service is why we pay to stay at the Ritz-Carlton instead paying or using points to stay at the St. Regis.) I even think saying that the St. Regis is "across the street from the beach" is a big stretch. IMHO the correct description would be...the hotel is seperated from the beach by a busy four lane road and a golf course. (I would guess that the actual hotel is probably 0.25 miles from the beach.)
