I thought about staying in this hotel as well -- looks like an amazing property. One thing to note though, is that this hotel is not on the beach directly, but across the street from the beach.
The hotel provides a stretched golf cart-like tram to get you to/from the beach. As a guest you are able to use the otherwise private Monarch beach club which is right on the beach, providing a bar, restaurant, and restrooms.
