Yeah. What is with that? Do they have a cheat sheet? Like "At 26 months, two 250mls containers are allowed"... It's arbitrary. Usually, I've found them to be flexible though. Three liters is not a reasonable quantity but anything under a liter would be IMHO.

I think, simply, some just don't have kids. And face it, once your child is past a certain age, do you really remember what they drank at 4 months? 8 months? a year?? I think three bottles is reasonable for a 4 year old. Yes, they have drinks on the plane but this toddler might only like a certain brand of apple juice. He also may run around more than their placid kid did and need more liquids. Who knows?

The bottom line is that it's unlikely that someone intent on assembling a bomb onboard and/or hijacking a plane will bring their little ones along for the adventure. Okay, you never know but we parents don't usually rate high on their list.

Someone did once get something evil on an aircraft by citing being in a hurry and arguing with security. Stopping and getting another opion from a superior will dispel this suspect rouse. Good work calling in the supervisor Arizonia!
