CO packed those EWR-ANC flights but the yields stank. It was dropped about the time that CO's big EWR-Europe expansion started, and went to 2X daily IAH-ANC instead.
As it is, NYC-ANC can be made with one connection by any major airline serving ANC, and CO still has same-plane EWR-SEA-ANC.
