Flights with short turn times routinely begin refueling as soon as the plane pulls in to the gate. I've seen countless WN operations where the fueling truck pulls up and starts the process as soon as the engines spool down. I've also been on many UX planes that arrive at the pad and the fuel truck hooks up even before the door opens, because we have to wait for all the door-checked baggage to arrive first.
