Such a service *might* work but the problem is getting distrustful Americans to use it...hmmm drop off my bags at a Circle K or 7-11 and trust that the bag, all of its contents and ONLY its original contents meet me at the airport. This harkens back to the days of "Have your bags been in your possesion the entire time?"

Now that I think of it, this service isn't like some resorts in Jamaica or the car rental center in Vegas where they take your luggage (hand inspecting it first) and then take the bags to the airport where they tender them to the airlines. Rather, this service only brings your bags to the airport lobby...no TSA concerns there, it's just like your buddy, coworker, bedmate meeting you at the airport with a forgotten bag.
