Can anyone suggest a way to inexpensively / free secure my PLT status on AA for the next year?

My company has put a travel freeze on so not sure I'd get an additional flight in.

Here's my current status:

YTD Elite Qualifying Points 33,723
YTD Elite Qualifying Miles 47,133
YTD Elite Qualifying Segments 24

Seems that the best way to get there is to close to the 50K qualifying miles (approx. 2,900 short)?

I fly out of RDU - any suggestions? Can I purchase the remaining miles? Any other ways to earn besides having to actually fly?
