I was wondering a couple things:

How good is the AMEX membership rewards program compared to the RBC Avion? I heard you get a 15,000 starting points for just signing up for RBC Avion and there is no such offer with AMEX Membership Rewards

2) Which program offers a better service especially for airfare tickets to Asia (Japan, Korea, Etc.) Easier to obtain tickets?

What are your personal experiences with these two cards?
