But Avis do! I have been dreadfully let down by Avis on my last two bookings (and they will be my last two with Avis! Damn right they loaned you a car 'gratis' - thier product failled, which caused you to miss your flight! Don't drop the insurance route, because Avis CS can be pretty immovable.
