If the Crowne Plaza, you'll get a voucher for dinner (choice of appetizer, no choice of entree, but pretty good) and access to the breakfast buffet (excellent). It's not an either or. Don't know about the Excel.
If they put you on a morning flight, NRT security doesn't open until 0730 so rushing for the first bus (~0630) is moot.
