As noted, it usually takes about 3-4 days for miles to post. If you cross the threshold during the intinerary, your new status won't be automatically reflected. If you call into the OnePass service center, they can remove your OnePass number from the itinerary and then add it back. Then your status will show up. This only applies to existing itineraries.
I thought the same was true for an existing itinerary, but my wife recently turned GE and the status change was automatically reflected in her upgrade results and was printed on her boarding passes.
