Did a search on here, but couldnt find any other solely SIN-LHR SQ F comparisons. Has SQ recently drastically reduced surcharges?
Here is one I just booked for a friend:

OZ F JFK-ICN-HKG

Also using miles + cash, but here is the shocking part: Taxes = £12

The rep thought it was too low as well and went to check with the tax department, came back and tell me it is correct. I still can't believe this is right because according to my research, the U.S. government taxes alone cost more than that at about £14 or so. Plus, OZ has fuel surcharges, which I took the pain of diging it up prior to calling BD DC and you can see the info here:

1. Fuel surcharge applied flights

1.1 Short distance flights (between Korea and Indonesia/Saipan): from US $98.00 to $62 (per one way ticket)

1.2 Between Korea and Japan: From US $50.00 to $32 (per one way ticket)

1.3 Long distance flights (between Korea and Germany/England/US): From US $221.00 to $140 (per one way ticket)
Based on this information, I figure out the total taxes and YQ should be around £144, not £12. Mind you, I deliberately chose OZ instead of SQ or NH because I know the OZ fuel surcharge is about half of the others and in this case, the flight schedule is far more convenient than the other *A big guns. And if Skytrax is to be believed, OZ is actually a 5 Stars Airline with a 5 Star First Class product.

I was puzzled by this until I see your post, something is definitely up with BD's calculation of taxes / surcharges. I wonder how beaubo would react if he reads this. In this day and age, how can a such ultra long-haul Int'l First class award has a total tax bill of £12? This is unheard of.

There is a way to verify for sure what's going on doing some simple tests but it's too bad this is happening at this time when I am ready to move on... When LH dismantles BD DC, none of this knowledge would serve any purpose anymore, so I wonder if it's worth the time. Boy, I am really going to miss BD DC... Anyway, just want to report that there is something going on with the BD DC taxes calculation and it's surprisingly, good news.
