I guess implied in your question -- but you didn't explicitly ask and no one seems to have to addressed it -- is which is better for the price. I suppose it depends how many miles you have and how much you value them.

Some people may think that the price (how many miles?) for a C class Europe-to-Asia award is a bit steep if you're in TK's old C class, but I would certainly do it over Y. Perhaps you can also take advantage of the opportunity for a stop-over in Istanbul.
