Be warned about this hotel if you have a late arriving flight and don't have a rental car.

Despite being advertised as only a few miles from the airport, this hotel stops their shuttle bus at 11PM and does not restart it until 6AM. There is NO notice of this on the hotel website nor when you get your reservation confirmation.

If you are on a late inbound or early AM flight, it will cost you $15 taxi ride as it did for this ticked-off Diamond member.

It should be 100% against Hilton policy to not have 24hr shuttle service at their airport locations. Or, in the least, they should pay for the taxi ride .... which they did not do.

I called the Diamond desk and complained but was only offered a credit against next stay at this hotel. But, after such service, I am sure to pick the HGI or DT next time staying at IAH.
