Hello

I am not exactly new to this site but given my low post count, that most people probably do not know me plus that I never posted to this thread before, I think I finally found my way to posting here.

My nickname is an abbreviation from my real name, Florian. I am from Vienna, Austria and I'm 23, alas one of the younger members here. I study communication at Vienna University whiles working full-time for a local public relations agency (well ok, they are a part of an international network).

I've been an aviation enthusiast for basically all my life. I took my first flight when I was 8 months old - my parents took me along for a trip to Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia on Singapore Airlines. Over the years I came to fly about all the Singapore Airlines aircraft there were: the DC-10, the 747-200, the Big Top and Megatop, the Airbus 310's they used for their hops to DPS that I took, the Celestar, Jubilee, and in the meantime I also had the chance to take the Airbus 380 and the 777-300ER. The only bird I never took was the Airbus 340-500 and I probably never will because paying long haul business out of my own pockets is, well, pretty damn hard for a student. I was in Singapore Airlines' Young Explorer Club when I was little, had various status membership cards with them and jut recently turned my back on their KrisFlyer program.

I just love flying. Mostly, I travel in Economy Class but from time to time, some Business Class tickets slip into my bookings. Like today ... I will be off for a short hop to Thessaloniki on Swiss Business. Anyway, my first trip in the front is about to happen in April 09. Finally, I will be able to sit in those SpaceBeds and SkySuites I passed as a child, telling my dad that I will be flying in those seats sooner or later. I am glad I snatched a few of those sears on the Megatop 747's as this concludes an era of flying for me. Still, there will be plenty of cities and countries left to visit and I hopefully will be traveling to Africa and Southern America sooner or later in order to having been on all the continents (well, except the Antarctica).
