I wouldn't do the earlier flight...I'm not familiar with China Eastern's overwater on-time performance, but I've flown them a few times intra-Asia and they've been consistently late. And an hour and a half, especially with not knowing what TSA follies may await in June, you're better off being safe than sorry...

If you do happen to land early, you can have the agent check the loads on the flights to DEN and MCO to see how a standby would look.
