KV99: My experience with LH lounges at Franfurt mirrors yours. Had a 2.5 hour layover in FRA shortly after making Premier Executive (still had not recieved my card), and despite my boarding pass clearly showing *A Gold status the gatekeepers would not let me into the lounge. No amount of discussion could persuade them, so I used my Delta Platinum card to access the AF lounge instead. Now that I have my gold card I still first try to get in with just my BP, but have never been able to get past the desk without showing my card.
