Hi-

I notice that when making a reservation over the phone, the phone agent will always ask if I need a hertz or avis car rental. I wonder a few things:

1) Do many people use this option? (i never have)
2) Have you found the rates to be cheaper than if you booked on your own?
3) Are the agent's comped on the success of the sales? It doesn't seem like they really push it too much, so it doesn't seem like they make that much commission off of it.

Just curious to see everyone else's experiences. Thanks!
