No one would want to join Silver Wings after reading an objective evaluation by the "senior travel columnist" at smarterliving.com. He calls it "a dud" and rates it 2 on a scale of 1-10.

Too bad. Various European travel programs are very good deals for senior travelers, and United could do the same if it wanted. The current program is advertising hocus-pocus.
