The whole point was to get to the right place straight away, rather than going through the AA e-mail circuit. AA may have a number for Australia, but "toll free" numbers aren't free on mobiles here, which is the only phone I have. Before someone tells me I could have gone to a pay phone, let me say I have my limits for a plastic card.

The new card arrived (in the UK) in less than 2 weeks.
