Please note the following:

1. Fuel surcharges (international as well as domestic)

In many events, good international fares add a hefty amount of fuel surcharges to the base fare, which are not included in the fares quotes by several sites like Fare Compare. Also, many US carriers have added fuel surcharges to domestic tickets which can have a significant impact on the final price.

Those fuel surcharges come either in the form of a so-called "Q surcharge" or a co-called "YQ tax" that is added to the base fare amount when an itinerary is actually priced.

Several websites displaying fare listing, including Fare Compare, do not correctly calculate theses add-ons in the "all-inclusive" prices they list.

To make this forum easy to read and to avoid the posting of low "all-inclusive" fares that are not bookable due to hefty fuel surcharges being tacked on when pricing, please verify the "all-inclusive" price before posting.

2. Certain fares on various websites that are never bookable
Some fares appear on Farecompare on a regular that are either Child or Companion fare types that cannot be booked.

A common appearance have been fares on Air Tahiti Nui from the United States to Tahiti (PPT), or tour operator group discounts from the United States to Asia. Please refrain from starting a new thread if those particular fares are not bookable.

Thanks.
