I ordered the W plush queen mattress set several months ago and used my existing down alternative featherbed. While the bed was quite firm at first, it broke in decently. It seems as though the side I sleep on is more squishy now than the opposite side (which isn't slept on as often-only when the g/f is over). Maybe that side will become softer after some time?

I've heard that the featherbed is what "makes" the bed, and I have concluded that those folks are right. I've slept on a W bed and it seemed better than mine, although I do still love mine. I went ahead and ordered the featherbed with the protector. Does anyone know how long it takes to get them? I ordered it on 10/27 and am currently out of town for work but will be home tomorrow. My apartment office said they didn't see any large packages for me. I'm somewhat worried now. They did charge my card and I got the 40% off deal. $158 for the featherbed and protector.

I'm hoping that my bed will be really awesome now. I can't wait to try it out with the "complete" setup.
