This is very helpful! I am DL GM and am a little disgruntled, considering switching over to UA. As I live in DC, this makes a lot of sense, but my sporadic flights on UA over the years have always been disappointing. I fly primarily domestically, UA offers more ns's than DL from here, and I love the idea of E+, rather than taking my chances on domestic upgrades on DL.

I haven't seen a post that describes how to status match on UA, and what UA is likely to do (match me for the next year? match me for a short time with a challenge? not match me, but give me a challenge?) Any insight would be most welcome.
