Thanks. I've been saving these miles for years...my wife always asks when I will ever use them! I've used some for transcon first class on United. My fear is that US might leave the *A and/or award requirements will continue to increase. I guess those are other issues though

So, it's either take the 2.9 cents per mile today; or wait for an uncertain (but potentially seriously valuable) chance in the future. 12 cents per mile for First Class on SQ sounds great!
