Beg to differ WRT LH economy on a 744. No one wants to be in E, but the LH 744 Y offering is indeed a step down from UA's product as they have no E+ OR IFE, at least on the ones I've flown FRA/JNB. Don't sell E+ short. LH Y food is certainly nothing to write home about. Concur with your comments WRT SQ. Have not experienced Quantas or Virgin. It is a MAJOR benefit, even on tired old 744s....
