QR - shocking treatment of employees

Just heard from someone on the inside that all premium terminal staff in Doha are basically "trapped" there.

The CEO has issued a memo stating that no premium terminal staff can transfer to another department, salary is frozen and no promotions will happen. Planned promotions and pay rises have been cancelled! Probably something to do with the fact that they are having recruitment problems. Even staff that have been terminated are being asked to come back.

What a way to treat your staff and keep them motivated. Without wanting to turn this thread into a political debate, it's incredible the lack of legislation protecting employees.

Goes to show, scratch below the surface and the airline is far from 5*.
