What the h*ll is going on with airport security. Not bad enough to go through the machinations we all go through every time we fly but now we are subject to personal touching and pat down on a "random" basis. I used the priority lane at YOW so figure I must have been a good mark.

I haven't seen this at any other airport in my travels--is this a pilot?

I have written my MP about security invasion of privacy and lunacy but to no avail. Anyone interested in exposing this lunacy from a privacy perspective. I guess I could write the privacy commissioner.

Anyone else been subject to a personal pat down as part of the "normal" security process?
