When we came through ORD at around 8 pm or so on 12/20, what i was hearing on channel 9 was that the penalty box was full and they were having the overflow planes do laps around "the scenic route"... (our gate was open, so we didn't really have any problems).

w/o channel 9, i'm wondering if people noticed how long the taxi to the gate was taking (and if they wondered if they had landed at midway and were taking the freeway up to ORD...)
