Yes, but O'Leary's claim is that he will pick them up for a song as carriers fail / rapidly downsize. Can't see it myself - I think that the value of the A330 will hold up as surviving carriers will get rid of other aircraft in order to snap up any surplus A330's. That is just one reason why the Ryanair plan is bunkum.

Carriers will fail over the next few months - but there won't be many free A330's for long. A340's maybe, but the -300 and -500 are too expensive to run for Ryanair and the -600 too big.
