I would recommend checking the fare bucket very carefully on their e-tickets... The vast majority of NZ website promotional fares, and virtually all NZ travel agent promotional fares (e.g. Travelmood, Austravel, etc) earn no mileage whatsoever out of the UK

Basically, you have to stump up at least a £100-200 premium on the lowest ex-UK NZ economy fares to get any kind of mileage recognition ...which is why I tend to stick to SQ and UA when travelling in economy, as their lowest UK webfares are virtually all 100% mileage-earning (compared with NZ, TG, AC, LH, SK, OS, LX, etc, etc)
