There was a thread similar to this in the past, but I'm too lazy to search.

Can't see how it would be feasible. An airline has up to 30 or so aircraft variants in the fleet. Seat 10A on one NW A333 is the same as seat 10A on every other NW A333. For NW, 17 seatmaps take care of the entire fleet.

Hilton has over 176,000 rooms worldwide, each unique if you look at size, view, distance from elevator, noise, bed type, .... Even if you could populate a database, no way it could be maintained as rooms are constantly being remodeled and so on.
